What is HighWay?
HighWay is High Street’s in-house investment methodology. It is built around four stages that run continuously: review, analysis, assessment and tracking. The process integrates proprietary quantitative screens to reduce a global universe of more than 50,000 listed equities to a focused watchlist of roughly 450 companies. From this universe, our research team conducts structured qualitative work to identify the most compelling risk-adjusted opportunities for our Funds’ mandates.
Key outcomes:
- A focused, high-conviction opportunity set
- Consistent application across market cycles
- Clear audit trail from idea to portfolio decision
- Consistency: A process that removes noise
- Transparency: Clear line of sight from idea to action
- Quality bias: We back what we understand
- Risk-aware: Decisions aligned with mandate and context
Our Investment Philosophy
We invest in businesses with strong fundamentals, durable competitive advantages and the ability to generate and reinvest free cash flow. Prices often diverge from intrinsic value in the short term. A disciplined, repeatable process helps us identify mispriced opportunities that are likely to revert to long-term fundamentals. Patience, valuation discipline and risk control sit at the heart of our approach.
