High Street Asset Management was founded in 2011, when Mike Patchitt returned from a sabbatical celebrating a successful career at UAL Merchant Bank, Sechold and Coronation Capital.

2017 – High Street Wealth Warriors Prescient Fund Launches
As one of the first funds of its kind, this global equity strategy was launched in 2017 to capture technological innovations driving shifts in consumer behaviour.
The High Street Wealth Warriors Prescient Fund provides access to some of the fastest-growing investment themes.
2018 – Reg. 28-compliant High Street Balanced Prescient Fund Launches
2019 – Murray Stewart, LLB, becomes a Shareholder
Murray brought 25 years of financial and investment experience when he joined High Street in 2019, taking on a senior leadership role within the Investment Committee.

2020 – Andrew Roy, CA (SA), becomes Chairman
Andrew, known as Tubby, was appointed as Chairman in 2020 and serves as a Non-Executive Director. He brings broad experience spanning both financial services and general commerce.

2012 – Ross Beckley, CFA, from Research Analyst to CIO
After joining as a research analyst, Ross has earned his CFA charter and, as Chief Investment Officer (since 2023), has helped build and manage High Street’s fund strategies.
2015 – High Street Global Balanced Fund Launches
The Fund combines diversification with hedging strategies to help protect against downturns, while aiming for consistent long-term growth.

This global equity strategy was launched to capitalise on technological innovations driving shifts in consumer behaviour.
